It is always agents who are caused trouble, hoping it will make clubs sweat and panic. I agree that footballers were exploiting by clubs and they need protecting but agents have lost contol in recent year.

 

This would put us firmly in the relegation dog fight and potentially the final nail in the coffin, it's becoming a very poor summer

Defensively we are awful and with out tiote we are suicidal and it would make the free signing for colback who was drafted in as Back up would now be a like for like replacement which would be a backward step

 

I'm sure theres been a Tiote out story running ever summer since 2011. Surprised one has taken so long to emerge this time, maybe his stock is falling. Tiote is a beast, but make no mistake he has flaws in his game (bookings, injury prone, rash decision making). We would cope, though we would be weaker for sure.

 

Why? Because there is a rumour that a top player may leave the Club. Lets wait until there appears to be some substantiation before panicking.

We seem t osee our players go for relatively derisory amounts... yet elsewhere in the market silly money gets splashed around.
I'd like to see a club statement saying his price is £20m as he's a 'purple' player so Arsenal can either put up or shut up.

 

Nah, Wenger wants us to have our strongest team vs City, he needs us to try and sneak a draw. He'll make the offer in the tunnel after the match - us losing to Villa and Palace because Tiote's "doing a Cabaye" doesn't mean anything to Arsenal.

 

Why there is so much negativity? Tiote is a good player but he has much temper in him and gives away lot of free kicks. He would be a loss for us if he is sell but the world would not end.

Some fans are looking to always be unhappy even when we are doing positive.

Agree. Lets just wait and see. Doesn't seem much in this one. Just recycling of old news so far. I am pleased with the signings so far but we deffo need a CB at least.
