    My mate at work, generally reasonably sound, is certain he sw Mikel Arteta walking up Pilgrim Street last night in the company of 2 spanish birds.

    Don't see why people would be that surprised.

    Everton have said they need to sell some of their big players to raise funds for signing and there was talk that they may sell Arteta and/or Baines.

    Doubt we'd pay 15m for him though , if that is what the asking price is.

    I once swore I saw Ronaldo (the smarmy one) working in a kebab shop just off Place Flagey in Brussels.

    He was winking away at the ladies and slicking his hair back with meat by products whilst arguing with his co-workers and shrugging whenever he got an order wrong; claiming it wasn't his fault.

    I swear to this day it was him.

    I saw Adebeyor coming out of the Premier Off Licence on the West Road on Sunday. He was by himself, but he was wearing shorts and flip-flops, looked very relaxed. Guessing he may have already found himself a house on Ellesmere Road or somewhere nearby.

    Do you know that when Arteta played against us at St.James Park(2010 2011 season obvious), he ripped Saylor a NEW ONE! His dribbling & technical ability would be a perfect addition to the first team! Snap him up! I'll even give them Guti in exchange for him! :D

    Signed a new 5 year deal in August. Would cost a lot of money.

    Also had a few niggling injuries lately hasnt he? On his day he is top, top class.
