So you believe that ahead of believing the slump could be due to the massive upheaval going on behind the scene's, rumours of admin and wages not being paid on time? I've worked somewhere, where there were rumours of us going bust, wages being paid 3 days, 4 days, a week later e.t.c, i know the atmosphere around the place and i know where my bet stands
Cool, so they're worse than who we had on the bench, but we still started with them. Thats not past owner, managers, or even the players fault. Until we actually start bringing in players better than some of the ones that are leaving, i'm gonna be pee'd.
Regardless of what goes on behind the scenes, its no excuse for not doing your job properly. They should try being self employed for thirty years where if you dont do your days work you dont get paid
I'm afraid we're going to have to agree to disagree on this one mate. Although they are paid significantly more than i was or anyone i worked with, it did affect the whole moral of the company that i worked at and definitely affected workload, attention to detail e.t.c. Yes i know footballers are pampered e.t.c, but if they weren't paid one day and then they're supposed to be "working" be it playing or training the next day, it will affect some of the players mindset.
One way or the other some of last seasons crap will pay the pice for their actions. Few will make upward moves in their careers but many will end up at far smaller clubs than Leeds to see out the end of their careers. Meanwhile, Leeds will continue
The lad needs to move on as he simply has not done anything of note at Leeds, he has had quite a few managers and none have really fancied him. If we are to improve he and a few other need to leave when possible. Good luck to him
Smith to have talks with Cellino wanted by Millwall Ollie is waiting patiently and i wonder if Smith liked what he saw Saturday Poleon is young and hungry you have never given him a fair chance so i make that 2 good players wanting out to be replaced with more dross you bet ya ass its a sinking ship alright
Don't know if you're on the wind-up or not mighty, but i would agree i don't think he's been given the chance of a run in the team. I think he would have done ok, certainly about a million times better than Hunt, who has been consistantly played ahead of him. I wish him well, hopefully someone will give him his chance and eagerly await his better replacement...
Agreed 100% and its not going to be a quick fix methinks. At least though we now have an owner who's objective is promotion. wasn't the case with previous two
He can talk about promotion that's easy, words are cheap, just like the players/loanees that he's bringing in. A win tonight means absolutely feck all. We got beaten by the wall because they fought and chased and wanted it more.
Bloody hell, i wish! I know when they're on that money, it should be easier to get over, but we're all still humans at the end of the day mate. Not knowing if they're gonna get paid or not, would have made some of them feel the same as i did. Its a crap feeling and difficult to carry on working to your best ability when you've not been paid. Part of you just thinks feck it.
Aye but Cellino is being bashed for the clowns that went before. Bates couldn't or wouldn't fix it in ten. Surely Cellino deserves at least a season carrying out necessary maintenance. Anyway Shaks we have little choice but to sit back and let him do whatever he intends doing
Just my opinion Eire... But there's no point getting millions in if he's not going to reinvest into getting good young promising British/Irish players in. I know we're only one game in Eire, but it only took me one game to make my mind up about kebe and stewart..
I know what you're saying RCDM, been there myself at least on 4 occasions (yes I must be a jinx) either company moving to England, or going to the wall and you're right we didn't give a bollocks in the end.
I may be wrong but I think Cellino is too long in the tooth to mistakes like kebe and stewart. You're restless, like us all. Id love success immediately but it won't happen. At least its a different plan this season. Try before buy basis and most likely to have a sell on value
Two new CBs who will allegedly bring more to the team than we had. All we need is aa decent forward. We can then pension off Hunt and Morison
