QPR offer Spurs Loic Remy in swap for Andros Townsend and Harry Kane? By Sam McEvoy, Reporter Filed: Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at 09:21 UK Last Updated: Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at 09:21 UK Queens Park Rangers have reportedly offered Tottenham Hotspur striker Loic Remy in exchange for both Andros Townsend and Harry Kane, according to CaughtOffside. QPR boss Harry Redknapp knows both Spurs players well after spending four years with the club from 2008 to 2012. Mauricio Pochettino is still allegedly looking to strengthen his squad before the start of the new Premier League season and could be tempted to bring in the experienced French striker. Remy scored 14 goals in 24 Premier League starts while on loan for Newcastle United last season and has recently been linked as potential covered for Chelsea's injured Didier Drogba.
Would be happy to see this happen , two players at the right age with plenty to prove . Starting to get on my nerves regarding Remy and Adel on whether they're staying or going .
If this deal happens, we'll need to look for an experienced striker. Kane has potential but we need an experienced, ferocious goalscorer.
Although I would love to have seen Remy in hoops again, reasonably happy with the deal. Yes, we need another experienced striker
I can't see this happening at all, just rumours Redknapp's concentrating on getting Remy fit for the weekend, I'd expect him to come off the bench for the last 30 mins at the very least I'd expect another Striker this week regardless, probably on a loan deal, and I think De Guzman will come in as well to play at the base of our midfield. Taarabt will be sold to Milan, and maybe a couple of youngsters out on loan
