Went to the Gate today to pick up a couple of tickets for the Dolman, I managed to get the last 2 seats in the upper Dolman that were together.! If you haven't got a ticket yet and you need to I would suggest getting it sooner rather than later.!

Also had a little wander round the ground, the pitch looks mint and the Eastend has now completely gone including all the terracing.! bit sad to see that but onwards and upwards.

What is the new capacity based on the rebuilding? Will that change as various components are added to the stadium over the season, or will there not be any significant crowd additions for some time to come? Surely there must be an attendance target on the books to reach some kind of financial security.

Mike, as far as I can see, we are at circa 14,000 from now until the South Stand, old Wedlock is completed somewhere about Sept 2015 and then the Williams will be demolished.

So then approx 18,000 ? Until Williams is rebuilt for 2016.

We usually average about 13,000 thats why its proving so difficult to buy tickets at the moment, and i guess that will continue now until the redevelopment is complete! Annoying for the people who don't have season tickets this season but thats just something we have to put up with i suppose.

Is it possible for non-season ticket holders to get a seat for either Colchester or Orient ?
    How to-the-wire are we ?

Its not a sell out yet, quite a few single seats around in the Dolman. and I didn't even enquire about the other stands.. I do reckon it will be close by the weekend though.

It could all get a little inconvenient if we are on a promotion run-in, and 18-20 K want to come and watch.
It could actually cost the club a small fortune in lost ticket sales.
And if next season is in the Championship, how will that work ? And what if we draw a home match against United or Liverpool in the cup ? I wonder if there is an alternative stadium nearby for that scenario

Still, I guess there is no right time for tearing down your house and starting again.
    I blame the nimbies

But yes, it will cost the club a lot of money in lost gate revenues. Last season and the one before wouldn't have mattered as much, but there is never a good time to carry out such major reconstructive work
