Not a single quote from the man himself. It is basically saying the same as applies to any of our players. If someone comes in with a bid, the player and the club would consider it.

Personally I thought Tiote was back to his best last season and would hate to lose him. People saying Colback is his replacement but I think Tiote is one of a kind.

Colback is a useful supplement and stand in, not a replacement

Colback is a useful supplement and stand in, not a replacement, ..... And definitely no replacement for Tiote.

I really hope this is garbage, we cannot afford to lose him, especially right now, when so much about the team is untested and uncertain.

No one in their right mind could think that Colback could make up for Cheick, could they Mr Pardew?

I don't mind us selling him, pretty injury prone and his form is very erratic. We'd have to replace him though. I'd suggest we try and get that Chilean lad from the world cup who plays for Basel. Never gives the ball away. At the same time if its bollocks and he stays, I don't mind that too. He has been very committed and is a very good professional. Gives 100% percent at all times, never been any bother and very accomodating with the other stuff like hospital visits etc.
