If you are right, then perhaps a loan deal for Joe could be an attractive "middle-ground" option for Joe?

We would have to throw in a bit of money but those 3 players would be perfect for us valley imo .

They would certainly solve a hell of a lot of problems in our squad, especially defensively.

We'll make the question simple for you by taking Bony off your hands if you wish :D

How about straight swap, Bony for Borini.... fair deal right? :bandit:

The point I was making is that Allen may not want any part of that deal or any deal to leave 'Pool and come back here. He may not want to play for us.

Yankee - a loan would permit Joe to experience for himself how things are at the Club. If he didn't like what he would see here or if he didn't want to leave Liverpool permanently, then he would be "happy" in the knowledge that he was going back to Anfield.

Once joe is on Loan at a club that Will signal the fact he is surplus to requirements . No player would want to gamble that IMO .

Joe has done the swans thing and is making his way at Liverpool , maybe in a year or two if he doesnt make the grade up There he could be an option but with the extra games Liverpool have i cant joe going anywhere or him wanting to go anywhere.

Play for monk at swansea or play Champions league for brenden at Liverpool ..no brainer isnt it.

I can't see him playing champions league though with the players they've bought in midfield.
Here's another scenario, play every week for Swansea or have the odd 15 minutes here or there for Liverpool.

Borini isn't worth anywhere near that and is a poor replacement for Bony if he goes. But if he does go we'll have plenty of money to spend - problem is it's likely to happen very late in the window leaving us well and truly high and dry.

You just know it's going to happen.

Tough call that one DP but I think it has to be Bony. Gomis has yet to prove himself but so far he looks good.

I can see him dropping back a bit into a high AM position a la Michu, imo he looks like he was born to play there.

Just to float a thought, Bony up front, Gomis or Siggy AM?

totally agree! he is quite skilful and good on the turn! the way i see it is, bony to hold up and have Gomis making runs into the box with siggy just lurking outside the box. Also have Gomis and Bony to swap positions all game to keep the defenders on their toes. they both are great targets to cross to.

I'm not bothered who Monk starts to be honest, though it is likely to be Bony, hope we get stuck into Manu too, they didn't look up to much tonight!........<ok>

Dragon, they are too similar to play together I feel and it might be better to ship Bony on, if that is what he wants. If we want 2 upfront, I would have thought a smaller, faster and more nimble partner would be better with either Bony or Gomis. I don't see why Emnes couldn't play that role.
