The Great North Run 2014

Morning All,
This year I'll be strapping on my well worn running shoes and dragging my fat ass from Newcastle to South Shields as I look to finish my third and final Great North Run.
Once again I'll be running for Macmillan, a charity very close to my heart.
If any of you boys and girls are able to sponsor me that would be very much apprecaited indeed.

Aye. Sure have mate. Drank myself sober in Marrakech, Cheltenham and Leeds in the last two weeks... Oh and popped out a Consett to Blaydon 20k run last Monday to keep things ticking over.

Got a pair of tickets to the opening ceremony on the Tyne tomorrow night to see Sting, Knopfler, Chase and Status and.. Erm.. ant and Dec.

 

Have a good run tomorrow and hope everyone makes it to the end safely.

 

Thanks mate. Really starting to buzz now. Echo your sentiment about all finishing safely. It's quite a hard distance even with training.
The generosity of Tyneside folk goes up a notch tomorrow and I remember a lady last time with a wallpaper pasting table full of little cups of juice, all done off her own back outside her house.
Whether running or supporting it's an unbelievable advert for our region, really is.
