Ignore he name change rhetoric in the background and nothing has changed at all, give or take a few details. Hasn't changed my match day experience one bit. Nor should it.
The revenue gained from earning one more point last season would have been more than the extra earned from either any name change or the increase in ticket prices
I am sure that when it was explained about how many tickets would be left for general sale after season pass holders had been dealt with that the figure given was more than that.
Slightly OT Me and my mate renewed in June(So we could use the DD payment plan) and just randomly picked seats in North Stand because we where planning to move back to the East Stand. On Thursday before the game we clanged our seats to E4. Yesterday they sent me my pass and they haven't change it to East Stand. I even asked the women in Ticket Office if we might get a Season Pass sent with our North Stand seats see said no.
I don't know what goes on in that ticket office but that organisation is piss poor. They seem to have 3 addresses for me and it's pick and bloody mix where they might send the tickets. I have asked them to change it but as they mis-pelt my email address in their database they probably wouldn't be able to tell me anyway.
Well they some how managed to send some information on me to a house i have never lived at before.....
Got 2 tickets in e4 for the stoke game and he said I could pick pretty much anywhere in there. Sounds like more seats up for grabs this year. Last year was upper west corner or north stand.
If we do sell out our season tickets it would certainly indicate that a stadium expansion might be necessary.
I think if they do consider dynamic ticketing, the AS Trencin game shows, if the prices are right then people will come.
The stadium will never be extended aslong as assad is here, he's a spoilt child who holds grudges to the detriment of the club.
I picked up my ticket at the bloody ticket office for the Trencin game last week and it was in a carrier bag with a replica shirt with BetUR across the front. My 'seat' was in the dug out next to a fat bloke in a track suit who kept standing up and shouting at the players. I actually played the last five minutes. All I wanted to do was sit in E4. Bloody useless.
I have a sneaking suspicion that he is well aware of all that and would like a period of peace and quiet on the name front. He may want to rebuild some bridges with the supporters of his club. I'm a hope for the best person but prepare for the worst. As you say a successful club brings in money, a united successful club would bring in even more money (in my view). That leaves the problem of the KC, its size and Hull City Council. Rome wasn't built in a day.
