Any truth in the rumours of him leaving Stoke? West Ham & us are in for him by the rumour mill.

 

I like Crouch, but I can't see us shelling out the reported £10m for him.

10 mill? I read 3/4 tops, no way in hell Stoke's getting that money at his age. Liverpool just paid peanuts for Lambert FFS.

 

Not for me really. He's too immobile for a 352, we need movement up top. Jelavic and Sagbo already give us bigger, tougher options alongside Long and Aluko.

He and Aluko would make for an interesting looking 442 pairing though

I read £10m to West Ham on Friday. £3/4m will be good business.

 

£10 million would be absolutely awful business for a 33 year old who has only scored 15 goals in two seasons.

I don't know were 10 million came from more like 1 million which for me is nothing now a days and if things were not going to plan he would be a decent to bring on

I cannot for the life of me see why we would be interested in giving one last payday to an aging, average at best, beanpole whose somewhat limited glory days are a long time in the past.

Wouldn't spend any considerable amount on him though, nor a long contract. Would make an excellent FAT but can't see there being much value for money if they're wanting any sort of respectable fee for him.
