Be interesting to see how that works out. Football is after all, as Nigel Adkins kept reminding us, a squad game
With the line up that started yesterday we will really struggle. I still wake up in cold sweats after having a nightmare about when Yoshida was a first choice centre back for us. I think at the moment, next season looks like it'll be all about somehow finding three teams who will beat us to the relegation places. Burnley look an option, as do WBA, but outside of that it's tough to see a stand out.
Following yesterday's game (live) and highlights from the other games a couple of improvements I would like to see: 1) get back to a high press game which worked so well last year.nwe gave BL far too much time to play around from the back, 2) patience. We were far too quick to knock the ball up to Pelle (who does appear to be very good in the air). Again if nothing is on up front let's keep possession until something does appear. 3) the two attacking wide players must run the diagonal to pick up the flick ons from Pelle when the ball is knocked up to him. Far too often his flick ons were being picked up by defenders with our wide players wandering over to support him Other than that quite enjoyed yesterday's knock about. Well done the Saints Board on sensible pricing too! Resulted in a good crowd
