I hope Adel stays and this is the season that he shines and becomes a legend QPR 10.

Don't hate you Lala, or any of the other teletubbies, but the more one reads a pattern seems to be emerging.

Adel wants away and although he is not on strike (as some would have you believe) it appears that he is not exactly 100% committed to getting fit. He appears to be biding his time making it difficult for Harry to do anything with him so that when the Italians come in with another (lower) offer for him the club will sell him on just to get rid and free up his salary. He will go.

We can't have anyone at the club who doesn't want to be here and doesn't want to put in 100%, no matter what special talents he may possess.

I notice after the apparent crunch talks Harry has said very little apart from that Adel wants away, but he says much more about Remy, who is prepared to work and may feature in the first game of the season. That is the difference. They may both end up staying or both end up going. Who knows?

If he stays it must be on the club's terms. The senior players will not stand for having one in their midst who seems to get preferential treatment (especially in training). At least we now have one player in Rio Ferdinand who can turn round and say "what have you achieved to get such special treatment?" with an impressive record behind him. Didn't sound the same coming from the likes of Hill, Derry and Barton!

If he doesn't go he only really has two options - take the money and do sweet FA or do what he began to do under Hughes which was to work harder, try to fit in and put himself back into the shop window.

It is down to him. Sod all the talk about "it's up to the manager to .... man management .... blah, blah, blah." It is up to HIM.

No one hates you but as much as I wish your comments to happen, I think I'll be buying tickets for Elvis' return concert before then.
He has to really want to do it .................. there in lies the problem.

We can wish or want as much as we like. It's over to Adel.

I'd happily keep him if we were playing like Barcelona week in week out , but that ain't going to happen ( for a while yet , anyway ) , because we could afford to carry a luxury like him . Time to cash in I'm afraid .

I'm sure everyone on here would want a mentally well adjusted Adel in the team but what's the chances of that?

People who want Taarabt need to toughen up.

People who want him to stay are like those sad guys who keep desperately going after a girl even though she's already rejected him. It's not pretty.

Adel has given us some of the most entertaining football played in a hoop, I am a huge fan. Nonetheless, if Warnock's view and statements about the man are correct, and taking into account it was Warnock's team in which Adel really shone, then we are better off without him. Any Adel fan should read Warnock's account of the team in his book, Adel was a total nightmare and hugely disrespectful to the team and of authority, utterly unmanageable. There is no evidence this has changed for us. Such a shame and waste of talent for us. I'm not convinced Adel has the mentality or mental capacity to ever reach his full potential. Best he moves on.

If he doesn't get fit then make him train with the kids. Milan wont give us enough money for him so we can tell them to bore off.

Give him the choice of wasting a year of his career or getting fit and helping us stay up and fill a massive void in our team. If it's October November by the time he pulls his socks up then that's great. If it lasts all year and he doesn't play a game then it is worth it because we cant set precedents where we allow a club like Milan to pick our pockets.

By the way heard from someone inside the club yesterday that the golden boy has been rucking with Harry and Rio. He isn't happy with 3-5-2 and has been very vocal about it in training and the changing rooms. Rio told him to pipe down and back the manager and it didn't go down well.

Seems Adel isn't the only disruptive influence in the changing room and our Joey feels a bit put out by a far more respected, talented and worst of all famous person in the team

If it's taken away from him then be prepared for the self destruct button to be pressed .

I agree with Eamon that it's noticeable that Harry's been praising Remy for his attitude in training and desire to get into the team, and there's a pregnant silence about Adel. Increasingly, I feel we're flogging a dead horse, and I'd love to be proved wrong.

Worrying too about what PD says about Joey. With his mouth and influence, if he's restless, that will be hugely disruptive in the changing room. We'll face the same problems we did when we went up with Warnock.

I can't believe what I'm reading . He is paid by qpr , contracted to qpr if we want him to play wtf is the problem ?? Why is it acceptable for this bolloks to go on , ? He shouldn't be allowed to get away with picking and choosing when he feels like playing and when he does not !? Makes me angry to think players have the nerve to be so entirely self serving ? Do they have no love for the game at all after they sign there first decent contract ?

It's not the playing... it's the training: physical and mental capacity to contribute within a team. Just not there.

We are not really in a position that we can turn down an offer lower than our valuation.

The alternative is for us to loan him out again this season (with us paying most of his wages) & for him to disapear next summer as a free agent (providing I'm correct that his contract then expires). Any fee we can get for him now is preferable to the zero that we would eventually receive.
