Why isn't there a single Leeds fan out there who would have picked Hunt yet Hockaday decided to play him? Is there anyone who wouldn't have pushed Byram forward and played Barardi? Would you have given the new Milan kid a chance off the bench at least? Hockaday said he got the tactics right anyone agree with him? If he did then why did he make three substitutions at half time?
Not looking good for the Hock I'm afraid. I'm not one for calling for the heads of people after one game, but come on what have we seen throughout the summer? he has no idea about his best team, and no idea about tactics otherwise we would be having more attempts at goal. Meeting with el presidente' today and bet he kicks a kick up the pants.
Not a great start, but let's give the Hock 10 games and the ability to pick the side he wants before judging him. Time will tell, but at least we're trying to play proper footy, AND we didn't spend £11m on a player in the summer only to then take him off after an hour.
Never before have I wanted a manager/coach gone after one game until now. In my defence I am also basing my decision on pre-season and the fact Nile Ranger was in the stands and looks set to sign. If Hockaday is in charge for 10 games we will be bottom of the table and at least 9 points adrift, bookmark this and bump it up with a smile if I am wrong. Not sure mate what you mean by pick the side he wants? He has openly stated he needs White back ASAP and he left the two new guys on the bench?? White might be better than Hunt but he isn't a game changer, by the sound of it we could have added White and played with 12 men we still would have done no better
Our midfield created nothing across and backwards is the only directions they go,so do you give the attacking midfielders a game or carry-on with the failing guys.
How you can say you want the Hock out after pre season games I don`t know, we played good football in the last 2 of those games. Against Millwall yes we were bad but we are never good down there even under more "experienced" managers we have been s**t. Only positive is that 3 of our new players never played and should be in the starting line up against Boro on Saturday, Berardi Bianchi & Benedicici Hopefully we will get a couple of new players in before Saturday as well All is not lost after 1 game so calm down dears
We played against ****e all preseason. The games taught us nothing, and yesterday was enough to make this experienced campaigner reassess where we actually are, yes it was one game, but it was as seismic an indicator IMO as Hillsbro last year. It was that bad.
Like I said in another post, we played teams two tiers lower than us, how can you get a true reflection of how well we played? Over in Italy we played someone described as a pub team with a 15 and 16 year old playing for them, we won 16-0 but it isn't a true reflection of how well anyone is doing. Hockaday said yesterday "He got the tactics right" if he believes that we have no chance. Give him as much time as you like mate, I assure you that he isn't the man for the job and you will want him gone before much longer
No it was not as bad as Hiisbro last season imo, we never touched the ball there last season, we had 55% possession yesterday and had chances to make it 1-1. An individual error by Cook lead to their 2nd goal as we were pushing forward looking to score. It was the first game of the season and you are silting your wrists already

His team selection on Tuesday will be interesting, I thought we played with most of the reserve players yesterday. How different will the performance be if Bianchi, Berardi & Benedicici all start? If they do start and play well then what about Saturday, will they retain a place or be rested, Hockaday really has got it all wrong from the very start, half expecting him to be gone by the end of tomorrow I see it as that bad.
Swindon are a decent side and would beat a lot of Championship side at honm and are only one league below us, Dundee are better that some of the teams in our league. If you can judge the teams we played in pre season to be crap I can judge them to be better then you say I don`t want the Hock as well but I will give the bloke 10 games to get a true reflection on where we are going

Poor Leeds. They left their coach to boos from the Millwall fans and exited the pitch to laughter and waves from the same supporters. In between, they could probably count themselves lucky to have lost the match by only two goals, scored by Mark Beevers and Shaun Williams. Make no mistake, Dave Hockaday's side were extremely disappointing in their first competitive fixture under the new manager. Barring the chance fluffed by Noel Hunt early in the second half they offered next to nothing. I can pick out another ten match reports if you like, all just as damaging

Poor display I know, was one game at a place we never do well at. Played worse there last season under BMD, wonder if you were all calling for his head after that defeat?
And they put out a load of youngsters against us and U21's, not their first team, Swindon’s line-up had an average age of 20!!
