I know some will disagree but this is exactly what happens when you play against poor quality opposition in friendlies and what I was moaning about a few weeks ago.

Players like Hunt and a few others look decent in the pre-season games because we play such poor opposition.

You go into your first game of the season and those players that looked decent in pre-season get shown up.

This is going to be a long and painful season that will only get worse if Nile ranger was in the Leeds end for the reasons we expect he was there.

You can't bank £11m for Ross and expect to replace him with £150k player who went from club to club on loan (and was unwanted by Peterborough ffs), a loan player and a possible free transfer.

I suspect Doukara had a stinker has he was replaced early on? So many fans thought he looked great pre-season and why... Again because he was up against s**t low league teams

I thought we might go down by a goal or two if we started with all our new signings as it usually takes time but with the majority of the team knowing each other's game it's a little worrying. Hopefully lessons have been learnt by the man with the money and his coach. A single game a season doesn't make and fingers crossed, with the transfer window still open, we can strengthen.

Still a lot of if's buts and maybes, I doubt we'll know where we're at properly til sometime in October.

Aye, it's no easy! To be honest I've never been keen on MC and his ways. I have an awful fear he will really do the club massive damage and not just financially but with reputation and how other clubs deal with us. The rot has already started and unless there is some miracle, we are in for a hell of falling down and down period.

If they are free and cheap they walk in and the deal is done within 48 hours. If they cost money there are long drawn out talks, the player arrives and everything is agreed then it all breaks down. It staggers me that both Viviani and Sorenson have slipped away and it staggers me more that Barardi and Bene were left on the bench and never featured

I can't help feel you don't understand MC. There will not be a 'manager' at Leeds under MC, he doesn't rate them and doesn't want that, he wants full control of the players who come in and who go out and if need be, who is in the team. All MC requires from a coach, is to carry out the things he wants (via his booklet) and speak to the media (with his agreement on what to say). We will of course have a new coach in a few days (10 - 14 at most) and then another and then another this season, because many will come and then wake up to what is wanted.

When MC isn't around, he has his 'team' watching everything and demanding this and that. No football manager with any ability will work under MC & that is the reality of our situation.

True, there are those small* hurdles. I was baffled by the line up today when I heard it, I just hope Dave/Cellino can handle the steep learning curve.

From the little I know, it appears we will allow Byram to leave for a fee around £6m + add on's. Byram has informed the club that he wishes to move on to the Premiership and Southampton look like the most likely club. This is perhaps why we have the Italian in the squad now.

Shame he never picked the team today, not a Leeds fan on the planet would have started with Hunt and most would have played at least one more of the new lads if not both.

Well Cellino is about to see what happens when we don't perform and the team selection looks shyte, and the tactics make no sense, and your best player is being sold ...... The Hock will be lucky to see out the month on this performance and I hope it was just a case of not having enough time to gel the players together, but I'm not holding my breath. Hunt for fooks sake, why he's had more chances than Billy Chance at a chance festival, lets face facts the man is shyte and sorry to say that he will never be good enough for this club.

Hock please sort this mess out or you just know you're history. Yes I know the season is long and it's early days, but already we're 3-points off the pace!! and them wally twats are going to wum us to death

Cellino promised us two signings before today's game, we never got them but I did say I bet it is Ranger and Swan, absolutely gutted we are going after this scum bag

Six pointer today with one of our relegation rivals.

David Pleat "Millwall looked solid and like they could really compete this season, but Leeds on the other hand did not really play as a unit. They had nothing up front and didn't test the Millwall goalkeeper once. Territorially Millwall controlled things for around 70 minutes of the play."

Trying to end on a positive, at least Fulham are losing and Ross has been substituted after 57 minutes
