What a great start to the season. Overall a lot of good things, particularly going forward, a little dodgy in defence but make no mistake Sheff Utd are a good side, so this is a superb result. Wilbs a very worthy MoM, if he keeps this form up then a very shrewd signing by SC.

Great win by the boys. I had problems viewing online for most of the second half so only saw the last 10 mins, but great job and a very welcome 3pts away from home at the promotion favourites. For the first time in a few seasons, we won't end the opening day near the bottom of the table!
The defence will need to build both confidence and a reputation, we defended a lot better in the second half, Pack did a great job for the last 20 and cut out loads of crosses and diagonals. We could not have asked for a better start. Beagrie can't help himself though can he.! where does this obvious dislike of us come from..

However - you all knew that was coming : Fielding didn't command his box, kicking was carp and punching was even worse. TBF, did make one decent stop 2nd half. Ayling didn't impress. Pack was superb when he came on although taking Freeman off invited them on. Positives : Little, Freeman, Wilbraham, Flint (although you know there's a disaster round the corner). And playing with 11 men - that's of course till that tw*t in orange boots came on with minutes to go. Great result, it has to be said and a few beers later to celebrate. Finally I was very disappointed, after all the hype, with Sheffield Utd.
I think we caught them cold today, although we could easily have gone in at half time behind. We were rocking for a bit. No matter what Cotts says about him being his No. 1, we need a commanding and confident keeper and Fielding isn't and he will cost us points Overall it's a dream start to the new season at a place we never do well at, but fer Christs sake Cotts keep their feet on the floor and let's concentrate on 2 important home league games to come soon COYR !!!!!!!!
