I have been really impressed with Elmo's heading ability last season, and the game Thursday evening.

He's certainly up there along with Davies. His flick ons are brilliant. The target of many a goal kick.

Ever since we bought him he's been the target at every goal kick so I think he must be! Or he's just miles better than every other wide player in the country

I was going to reply that his flick-ons are awful, attacking the goal he is impressive though. Sagbo did very well nodding the goal kicks onto Long's runs on Thursday i thought.

Scored against Toon last season with his head too.

Would still say Davies is best.

For his size, he is very good and very effective against similar sized full backs. It seems McGregor has improved his kicking and didn't find Elmo about twice over both the Euro legs.

Dare we compare Elmo to Stuart Elliott? ??

I've never seen anyone leap like Elliot used to do and scoring wise he beats Elmo. Before anyone points it out I know it was in different Leagues Elliot played in.

Only if scores shed loads of goals next season. But tbf, Elmo would have to match that feat in the Prem. One partly unfair criticism he gets,is for his diving. I say unfair, because he also takes a lot of knocks from his opposition.

Elmo is excellent at getting on the end of a cross hung up in the box.

Sagbo is a machine when it comes to making something out of an aimless long ball. He was winning everything on thursday.

I'm gonna say Sagbo. He's the man.

I think Elmo is a lot better than some people give him credit for. He brings so much energy and pace to the team and he's one of the few players that when he gets the ball, the crowd get genuinely excited and you can hear the fans roaring him on. He was easily the best player on the park on Thursday.
