Apologies if anybody has already mentioned this but Echo is reporting that Morgan still wants out and has been dropped for tomorrow and told to come back Monday.

Oh dear oh dear. How much longer will this drag on before Morgan accepts it or we reluctantly have to sell him?

I think he will leave, but only after a transfer request is handed in. A total stab in the dark.

Morgan has been on strike since Sunday and hasn't trained since... very disappointing.

Just back if that's true his behaviour is pathetic. Thought he was better than that.

It is an insult to the club that he could even consider Tottenham enough of a step up to warrant this.

I can understand Schneiderlin. Let's be honest it must be awful having a club that appreciates your talent so much that they really, really want to keep you and believe in you so much that they want to build the team around you. Poor guy. Tbh, I'd go on strike if the club had that attitude towards me. Not to mention that this awful club have given him everything for 6 years, paying his wages and given him the platform to be the player he is today. Disgusting behaviour is from Southampton. Not surprised his 6 year journey at Saints was ruined in one hour.

If this is true, then hats off to the club for managing that in a way that has kept that out of the media. They have obviously got him to keep it quiet as today is Friday and the first I have heard of him striking this week. Sounds like some good management/leadership has gone on.

I thought he was a Professional Footballer not a fuquin Prima Donna. If you don't want to be tied to a Club don't sign a contract. In the meantime pour your international career down the drain in the reserves if it makes you feel better.

I see this one going on until deadline day. I wonder who blinks first? Can Spurs even meet our price?

Our Chairman has said he is staying on two occasions and Koeman has confirmed it...hard to see that Saints can back down. Morgan could strike, but where will that get him come September 1st. Other PL clubs must be watching this with interest.

If he makes the situation untenable and Spurs meet the price we'll sell. The club just has to turn the blame on him. Issue is I don't think anyone will get close to 25-30m without cash + players.

You can see his point to go on strike?

That will just mean whenever a player wants out they can do this and get what they want. Not the way it should be IMO. We need to stand firm and hope Morgan stops being a little prick.

Cabaye I think wouldn't play for Newcastle for a bit after we bid for him and he ended up staying (for a while at least) and playing well. It can happen, just depends how much of a tantrum the player wants to throw
