Atletico Madrid have been unable to complete a deal for Lille's Zakaria Bakkali as the 18-year-old midfielder is concerned he may not play enough. AS (in Spanish)

I hope when I get a proper job, if I've got a big project that needs doing pretty urgently over the next couple of weeks, they'll give me a Thursday off to go golfing.
So, medical was done for a centre-back - that is not Rojo. Deal may not happen, dependent on whether we get Rojo.
presumably the defender in question doesn't mind being second choice then
