On the official City site now as well. http://www.cardiffcityfc.co.uk/news/article/mutch-qpr-1806238.aspx Good luck to him, but more good luck to us without him. We need Whitts and Daehli to step up to the mark to release the likes of Maynard, Le Fondre and Guerra through the channels. Mutch was good but not irreplaceable, and 6 mill (or 5 depending upon who you listen too) is a brilliant return for him with just a year left on his contract. EDIT - especially when he didn't want to be here any more.
Good luck to the lad....certainly not irreplaceable....but we are a poorer side without him. If he can iron out his inconsistancies could be a future England international.
how many is that you have sold - Caulker, Medel and Mutch spring to mind, you been getting as bad as us
We seem to be getting rid of Malky's players and you Spanish players. Looks like we no longer want to be boring and you no longer want to be Barcelona.
Not all of them Sparks, £15m 'worth' odd didn't. Cornelius, Odem and Brayford all didn't get relegated. Have I missed the point.........
Nice one Stevo - it was probably all Tan's fault...... I was expecting someone to say........"Look out - he's behind you!!!"
a player that didnt give 7 or 8 out of 10 every week but was inconsistent. not saying that because he's gone, if he had another year on his deal here i would have rejected £6m, but at those figures you have to sell. quite worrying that there is a 'substantial' part of the fee going to birmingham. it was probably the compromise for paying what was then below market value when we bought him in 2012. i think he'll get better playing around better players. to be fair to QPR they are buying the right sort of characters into their club nowadays and i can't see them being relegated next season…………………..
