Possibly really old news, but as a leicester dwelling Tiger, I have heard from one of his pals that Jack Hobbs is signing and having medical this week and is apparently really chuffed to be coming to us, hooking up with NP again.
This was expected but it's still good news. I would prefer Ayala Chester pairing, but I doubt Ayala will be coming back.
AP was talking about putting a bid in for him a month ago. Now its gone totally quiet on that front, not even a whisper. If Ayala did come back it would be Chester who makes way which would be a shame.
Nor could I, until someone on here listed the other centre-halves, especially youngsters coming through, who they have on their books.
Yea its worth speculation I suppose, but hes young and has bags of potential I cant see them selling him on this year. Obviously the loan option will no doubt be there to give him game time, but will NP go for it? I think he possibly could and may do so, time will definatly tell.
Think Ayala's contract runs out at end of this season 11/12, so a loan (well a long term 1) would be a little pointless from Liverpools point of view, unless he signed a contract extension.

Ayala is at the end of a large pecking order. Unless Kenny dramatically changes his backline and sells a couple of the guys in front of Ayala, it'd be hard not to see him leaving this summer.
I agree with this. Adam wouldn't have said what he said without knowing what was going on (obviously)!! I think he had spoken to Liverpool and they said they didn't want him. I think they will be looking to sell him and he will want to come here as he obviously greatly respects NP. I think we will have to wait until Liverpool have sorted out their defensive targets. I think unless someone else comes in with more money / higher wages, he will be ours if the price is right.
Dont perticulary keep a full eye on other teams transfer business especially a league city arent in. But I thought N'gog went to Sunderland as part of that Henderson deal? I do recall now Konchesky was only out on loan last season, so it seems the list is upto date my appologies Erik. Thanks for the link all the same.
