28 for Lukaku is a bargain though.

Cattermole will play in the holding role but it all depends on Poyet tactics really.

I was surprise you spent 28m on a player but really it's only Fellaini money so good deal. 14m for borini is abit to much but at the end of the day it's not my money. plus it's 12m rising to 14m.

I just can't see Sunderland paying 10m upfront for a player what hasn't played much.

To be honest it is I would rather have him than:
    Graham 6m
    Fletcher 14m
    Jose 6m
    Total 26m

He will be on less wages than the 3 of them put together and will probably start more games than the 3 of them put together.

Comparing him to other bad deals doesn't make that one suddenly a good one for Everton though.

The way the market is ATM, you can get some real good bargains or you pull your trousers down and bend over.

Listening to talkshite on the way home they said "he's only played 58 games in the last 7 years"... He's only 23! How many players are scrutinised from being 16 FFS!

    Everton 109 appearances
    Man City 25 appearances

They don't know what they're talking about as per.

Define a plastic fan? Is it someone who conditionally supports their team? I have mussed only one season as a season ticket holder since 86 and that was the year my daughter was born. The ONLY reason I don't buy a ticket is financial. You just decide whether you like the club depending on players we bring in. Ergo. Plastic fan. Numerous people have offered to meet you and you haven't turned up so what's the point in brian turning up? You won't be there anyway, if he arranges to meet you at the match you probably won't go as we haven't signed messi

I wouldn't meet him anyway. I'm not going to risk my season card for a brainless meat head who see's violence as an acceptable from of reasoning. He's Plastic and Ginger, both are fact by his own admission.

Strange ive lived in Liverpool for 29 years and unfortunatly spent more time at Goodison than the SOL due to my work duties and having many blue nose friends and colleagues it seems odd not one of them ever echoed what youve just said about Rodwell. All of them to a person highly rated the lad !!

Seeing as a large number of the lads on here are season card holders, I doubt that.

Unless, of course, SAFC stage behind closed doors games just for you, in which case fair one...
