I always figured that Jenkins wanted to cash in on Bony and rumour has it he will. But so far it is only rumour. We'll see in the next few weeks.

the only team i think we'd have to worry about is Liverpool... and the only way that deal happen for 15 mil is if they include Borini.

Not big on the double deals , but maybe Borini got more than he has been showing lately . There is s lot of push and shove behind the scenes and it gets worse as the window slowly shuts . Id be over the moon if Bony has a change of heart and stays ... and Monk finds a way to take this terrific team forward ... just got a bad feeling .

I am pretty sure that Wilf will be on his way in this window and if I was a betting man my money would be on Liverpool

If we do sell Bony for less than the buy out clause then Huw Jenkins will have a very uncomfortable night at next weeks fans forum. If they do sell then what's all the crap we've been fed by Monk and co. about astronomical fee needed to force us to sell. I can see another undisclosed fee bubbling up on the horizon.

The only way Jenkins would reduce the transfer fee is if Bony has said he wants to leave under any circumstance. He doesn't appear that type to me more a heads down and get on with it type of player. However his agent may be different altogether and coming back from the world cup can also be unsettling as no doubt unofficial soundings are put out.

Having slept, uncomfortably, on it. My questions today are, "What is our manager getting paid for? Is he coach or manager?"
Vorm 'wasn't happy' - so he went,
Michu 'wasn't happy' - so he went,
Pablo 'wasn't happy' - so he went,
Allegedly, Bony 'isn't happy' so we're knocking on doors asking for a reduced fee like a desperate peg seller,
Ben was happy but got passed on at a knock down valuation.

And before anyone says, 'If they aren't happy, it's best they go'. Do players at other clubs walk out of the door every time they feel a bit undervalued? Of course not. A few do but usually at inflated fees, even those with the biggest reputations.

I read a recent post about rangel not being happy a few years back and look what he has done for us in the past few years, I guess the big question is if we stopped players taking a step up the ladder would that put future Swans signings off us.

All this stems from the sacking , simple . To not acknowledge that fact is wishful . Jenkins brought it all on himself.

We have always had players move on and several think they have moved up! (Only Joe Allen has been successful and that is not universally agreed)
But we appear to have / have had groups of players who are running roughshod over the club.

Your a new ostrich. Campiion If Bony goes ... Bony , Michu , Davies , Pablo , Poz, Canas . Rumours about Chico and Shelvey with 3 weeks left in the window ....pull your head up and have a look once in a while . This is not a normal exodus usually from sell offs , these are players that just dont want to be here anymore , Im as heartbroken as anyone but not to the point where Ill PRETEND all is good .

Roofjack, you have consistently spouted anti-swans tripe all summer. Utter nonsense.

Despite there being no quotes, it seems clear that he's likely to leave. I think there's far to much info in the article to just write it off as made up. If he leaves I hope it's sooner rather than later. We don't want him leaving so late that we don't have time to get a replacement.

I doubt the story is true but if it is then Jenkins will be continuing the Board's recent tendency to **** up in the most amateurish way. If we were to sell under the release clause that's 3rd Division small-time thinking, not Premiership, and appointing Monk was the start of that trend. Before anyone jumps in I hope the guy proves me wrong.

Liverpool have shown that if a player is under contract you can resist bids if you are robust enough. If the trigger is met or surpassed there's little we can do about it but we have to fight tooth and nail to keep Bony and not cash in to make some money we don't actually need.

But the clause is now useless so we have all the power regarding valuation. If it's not at least £30 million Huw better tell all suitors to get stuffed.

What you consider antiswan tripe are just my opinions turned fact . Within a week of Laudrup sacking I said there would be an exodus , including Bony . Im not happy about it , it was just so obvious.

Last summer Suarez wanted to leave to play for a bigger (champions league) team.

He was told by Rodgers he wasn't going anywhere and had arguably his best season.

If we let Bony go for peanuts because he isn't happy, then it really shows what little guile we have.
