I know ... I was looking for a bite. I guess a man of your vintage is too long in the tooth for that carry on
I have no worries about my eldest, he is a very clever lad and isn't easily swayed either. The next one though, does concern me. He do anything you tell him
Born in Liverpool (Broadgreen Hospital) but left the city to get a better job 35 years ago and never really went back apart from short visits.
I was born in County Tyrone NI, got 4 brothers (and 4 sisters) and none of us or my dad followed any football whatsoever. We played Gaelic in my school as football was frowned upon. I didn't really get into football until I came to the mainland and witnessed how passionate english fans were about the game. The 1990 world cup was my first taste of football that I really enjoyed as I lived with a large Irish community in West London, that summer was amazing. Liverpool were the team that was always winning things up until then so I guess that tipped it for me(yes I am glory hunter, burn me at the stake). I know very little about the game but I do enjoy watching it. My wife and 2 sons are Mancs, in fact all my brothers & sisters in law are all Mancs too so it's a bit one sided most Saturdays. Last season was fun though. I was born in 1966
Dad from Bootle, mum from Croxteth, school in Gill Moss, grandparents from Old Swan & Huyton. Dad & mum were reds, siblings reds, grandparents were blues. Mum one day casually mentioned I was born out of town way down south. Thank ****.
