    Sorry new thread,but you have to have a look at Saints web about a takeover from Celtic and the peeps have hit the panic button on there.....oh it did make me chuckle,some people will believe anything:emoticon-0102-bigsm

    I think it was a humorous piece that some have taken as true. Celtic are planning to sell us all their players, take over the club, and move us to Scotland (a la MK Dons)...obviously a spoof.

    Yes just like Liverpool taking over Southampton. Just a spoof but we can kind of relate to their problems of retaining their players.

    More likely the other way round. If they are out of Europe and us with all our spare cash!

    I did find it quite amusing that one SW poster thought it credible. Perhaps he didn't actually read the article... one would hope.
