Put me down as what used to be inside left or inside right. Very active clearing off the goal line one minute and scoring the next. Not a player for sticking to a strict format. Known for acceleration. Scores and crosses with either foot.

I'm sure Rocky's interpretation of that will be something like. Inside out or better left inside or should be kept right indisde. Undisciplined maniac who beats everyone to the bar.

I think we should get Linden Tree from the horse racing forum. He's played against Real Madrid (and won) in his younger days.

Well JS, id consider myself to be in the Kolo Toure mould. Greedy, money grabbing centre back who likes the odd puff :)

In terms of ChairboyJock, id say he was Yaya ;)

    Funny post btw :emoticon-0150-hands

I would nominate myself as goalkeeper. I have played for the Guernsey Island team at under 15 level and was a squal player at under 18 when I was 17. I would say a similar mould to Jimmy Walker who plays for Walsall- slighly on the small side for a keeper, a good shot stopper and organises the defence well (that is when they are actually in position to be organised).
I would also nominate myself as Manager/ Coach I have managed Walsall School's under 11's for 3 seasons. A highlight was taking the 2nd team to a tournament in Jersey and won I think it was 4 out of 5 games, even the first team manager said he wasn't keen on playing us.

Cracking thread JS. Very amusing. How's the squad coming on? Maybe when we have our full squad, we could arrange a friendly with Shrewsbury or Gillingham (for example) - in the summer of course, when the ground isn't hard though.

    Good thread JS.

I play 5-a-side every week now, but like Rockinchariboy I was a keeper in my day too. A safe pair of hands and an eye for a camera save at any opportunity! Played from under 12's at school and local clubs in Wycombe up until about 4 years ago when I moved to London and didn't find a new team. Funnily enough on the lookalike thread mine was Heurelho Gomes, but I made far fewer mistakes than that clown! I prefer playing out pitch these days. I'm pretty fit so will put myself down as an attacking right back or a box to box midfielder.

i vote slasher as my partner in centre of defence the opposing forwards would then have a long way to go to dribble around us.:emoticon-0176-smoke<ale>:emoticon-0168-drink<bubbly>:emoticon-0166-cake:

I would put myself as a centre back but when I was playing would get pushed up front to dish out a bit of stick to the opposing cb's...... I suppose is a Andy rammel way so I could do a job for ya.
