Michu wants a manager who has proven his merits and who speaks Spanish. Not someone about to earn his credentials by not getting relegated(BTW what are Swanseas season goals this season?), who fields second rate teams when going "too far" in the FA Cup or Euro League or who doesn't have enough respect amongst his players, to keep them from getting into fights with him.

Napoli are an ambitious club.... That will suit Michu well!

Also a scummy club, with scummy management (not Benitez who I rate), scummy city, scummy stadium, scummy security and most of all scummy fans.

“The fans here are amazing, I have always identified with people who go to the stadium to lose their voice when cheering for their team."

They are amazing - they're a bunch of facist thugs.

Fair point, but if he doesn't want to be here then basically he can **** off. Last season has gone. We are where we are and most fans have moved on and are looking forward to the new season. We don't want people who don't want to be at the Club <ok>

Isn't it about time you went away?

Had enough of your continuous sniping at the club and manager.

How's your Arabic coming along? :emoticon-0140-rofl::emoticon-0140-rofl::emoticon-0140-rofl:

But Napoli are a second rate scummy club with nazi racist racist scum for fans. I'll take Swansea City and our values every day before that despicable lot.
Michu didn't want to be hear so he can f** off, on last seasons performances we have an upgrade in Gylfi.

With Gylfi, Bony and Gomis, Michu would have been warming his arse on the bench this season.

Strange then it's only Laudrup's pets that want out. We have signed quality players this summer. Swansea City have moved on, and we are all looking forward to the new season, especially if we can get those other signings that Monk is talking about.

Watch out - swanselona alert. <laugh> He'd have us all praising a guy to the skies who doesn't want to be here and who thinks so little of the fans he couldn't even be bothered to say thanks. The same guy who is now praising the worst fans in Europe for being "amazing" <doh>

Has he learned nothing? Stop going to clubs for managers. If and when Benitez gets the boot you'll be sulking off again like you did with Laudrup. You can always have a recurrence of your "injury" I guess. :)

Thanks for that first season Michu but **** off.

Having met you personally I have to say I'm disappointed with your current attitude towards my Club , whether we like it or not the Club is heading in a direction currently with Monk at the helm ,managers come and go and no doubt he'll be gone as well at some point but the one constant is the Club and supporters .some of whom have been here well before the PL and will be if we're to drop out of it .To put it bluntly Laudrup's **** smells the same as the rest of us mere mortals and as much as I disagreed with his dismissal it was for the greater good , Michu like managers come and go ,thanks for the memories but close the door on your way out and to reverse your point ,Michu's leaving may well suit this Club and thats all I'm concerned about .The only thing I'll be looking out for regarding Michu's season is that he plays well enough for us to bag a huge profit when we sell him.

Wont argue with that Boundy. Michu was sulking something terrible, I watched him whe we played Norwich, and his attitude stunk. He's a great player but if he's not committed to the cause then bugger off. He was outstanding in his first season, and I'm great flu to have seen him play in a swans shirt, but he's history now as far as I'm concerned.

Just hop he has a decent season so as mentioned we get a good transfer fee for him.

Makes sense, roof. The feedback I am getting is that he despised Monk and had no respect for him in any capacity. I must stress that this is rumour but if there is any element of truth in it, it is easy to understand why he wanted out.

Unfortunately, so far he has failed to acknowledge the support from the fans who idolised him; the Jenkins/Monk/Laudrup debacle was hardly our fault. Very disappointed because, apart from being a great player for us, he was also a decent guy and I thought better of him.

Must have broken out of his sulk at this point to look totally delighted that Nath scored and give him a big hug.
Running up behind Michu also delighted and wanting to hug Nath - that other big trouble causer Canas

Wasn't this the time when both Michu and Bony had both been injured and just returned. I recall in addition to the many injuries we had one match on top of the other here. December was a nightmare 9 matches from 1/12 to 1/1 (inc St Gallen away immediately before Norwich, Man City twice and Chelsea). That period immediately followed by Man Utd away twice within 6 days at the start of Jan.

I have no doubt Michu was disappointed with his own failure to make a real impact for the club last season, brought on by injury. But lets remember Michu was always very loyal to the club when he was very successful. I for one cannot blame him if he could not stomach what was done to our previous manager. Even Huw said some of the comments being made about him turned his stomach. Such historic success rewarded with such poor treatment can not motivate those that respected him for all he achieved for us.

I've seen managers come and go in my time. When you're supporting a club obviously players, managers and even board members change over time. Some you'd like and support - others can be held in lower esteem.
I understand - or claim to do so - Michus motivation to swap Swansea for Napoli. See above.

Furthermore I must confess that I do have a hard time getting behind Monk as a manager. I see him as a person who, over time, worked behind the scenes, to disrupt the managment of Laudrup, to put himself in the spotlight as Swansea manager. I don't know if he was successful, or if it was a stroke of luck that he finally got the position, but the way it was done leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth.

Monk - to me - hasn't proven anything. He scraped survival in the PL, and has been removing all traces of Laudrup since then. This is why Michu left! Scencny and Montero are good transfer business. But I'm still wondering - honestly - what the seasons goal is.
Battling against relegation again ? 4th season?

Goal is as every season, survive and finish as high up as possible.
Gomis and Gylfi are also good transfer businesses too.
