Seen that Chico might be off for £3.5 million from a number of sources. Complete madness if true and just hope it's lazy journo gossip. Also worrying is that Spurs are supposed to be compiling an offer for Bony..... IF true.
Bony going nowhere. http://talksport.com/football/exclu...verpool-lurk-140802105376#AdrFcI8PVQqa2R8U.99
http://www.insidespanishfootball.com/119046/swansea-city-approach-almeria-for-ramon-azeez/ Go get him Sir Hubert. Just what we need. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2077832-scouting-report-could-arsenal-roll-the-dice-on-ramon-azeez Sounds like a young Leon. Would be well happy with this signing.
Talk of a £3 mn transfer of Adam Matthews ... if Celtic crash out of Champions League. I'm not too sure what to think about this .. he'll come to us only if Celtic fail and there's the business with Cardiff, and the last Celtic player we signed was over priced given what he brought to the party. I'd rather we looked elsewhere tbh.
Jose Canas might be on his way to either Elche or Celta Vigo. Good luck Jose, you could have cut it in the Prem with the right club.
Looks like we have a fight on our hands with the Vorm deal . We dont want to pay the 30% sell on because it was part of a trade and not a sale.
If that's the case and we got 4-5 million, had we sold him for 6-7 million which would have been my valuation, how much would we have got had we passed on the sell on fee?
We would have no choice, even if in a swap deal, a swap deal only replaces money changing hands, it doesn't change his valuation and what value we get in return. So its either pay 30% of his value, or cut a few limbs off Gylfi and send them to Utrecht.
Who decides his valuation? Spurs & Swans? What if Utrecht disagree? I think there's only arbitration for U21s
Good signing if it comes off and hopefully a better player than Flores , price not too bad either considering his pedigree
Looks like were hot on the heels of french defender Timothee Kolodziejczak , left back . Ps nifta , you still in Halifax
Sky Sports understands Swansea are lining up a move for Nice defender Timothee Kolodziejczak. Swansea are in the market for a new left-back after selling Ben Davies to Tottenham earlier this summer. Highly-rated full-back Kolodziejczak has been linked with a move to England all summer with the likes of West Ham, Queens Park Rangers and Southampton all credited with an interest in the 22-year-old. Bordeaux and St Etienne are also chasing Kolodziejczak, with Nice resigned to losing the former France Under-20 international. Kolodziejczak has been left out of Nice's squad for this weekend's opening Ligue 1 game with Toulouse as coach Claude Puel feels he is not in the right frame of mind of play as speculation surrounds a possible move before the close of the transfer window. "He is waiting for a departure, but as long as there is nothing definitive, we will see what we can do," said Puel. "He has expectation, but he is still a Nice player so far." http://www1.skysports.com/football/...-chasing-nice-defender-timothee-kolodziejczak
Jonathan de Guzman has reportedly been made a transfer target of Queens Park Rangers. The Netherlands international has spent the previous two seasons on loan with Swansea City from Villarreal and he had been expected to sign a permanent deal at the Liberty Stadium this summer. However, talks between Swansea and their La Liga counterparts have stalled, which has alerted QPR boss Harry Redknapp, according to The Sun. The report added that the R's would be prepared to part with around £7m to sign the 26-year-old. De Guzman made 93 appearances for Swansea, from which he scored 15 goals. http://www.sportsmole.co.uk/football/qpr/transfer-talk/news/report-qpr-keen-on-de-guzman_170158.html
Stil think we should be going all out for JDG. Monk said 2 or 3 more signings, well lets hope its 3 2 defs and JDG
Central defender , right back and holding midfielder in that order of importance and 22 days to get them .Weve almost filled the CB position and a healthy Britton all season will help but Im worried were not looking for a right back which might be a mistake .
