So, for being **** & disruptive, we have rewarded him with an 18 month loan to Italy. So far he's enjoyed getting a title winning medal, & now he gets to hang out in Milan, FFS, can we be on the receiving end of some luck like that please. I would have let him rot......not near the kids mind.....till the little rat paid up his contract or a suitable offer came in. <grr>

The man looks uber cool & I would have loved him to have settled in & been as good as we wanted him to be, but alas he turned out to be a complete dick.

The moment I saw Osvaldo presented to the media I thought he wouldn't be the right man for Southampton. Didn't think he'd make an enemy of himself among all fans and teammates though. Almost makes Balotelli look like a saint (no pun intended).

Let's just stick to signing grounded (for footballers) players and not champagne billies and billies big bollox lik3 Osvaldo. For us and the others fighting for 7th it's a game of inches and a squad in harmony makes the difference IMO

Was watching a bit of the Man City earlier [the one where Osvaldo scores his wonder goal] and there's a bit in it where Twatbeard misses a fairly easy chance [for the umpteenth time] and Osvaldo comes up and ruffles his hair as if to say.. hard luck, never mind.

Quite the understanding chap, it seems. :)

There's a bit where Osvaldo misses an absolute sitter... turns out it was offside, but he didn't know that at the time.

Personally I'm of the opinion it was premeditated to engineer a move away.

That happened to him too many times in too many matches. chance comes 6 to 12 yards right in front of goal, he wants too much time, defender clears (or puts him off.) Happened against Norwich and Man Utd as well (off the top of my head) and I'm pretty sure there were more occasions that I just can't remember who against.

The Norwich one was really annoying because we were on top of them for the first half and had we won that one (very early in the season) we may well have gone into that Arsenal game vying for top spot.

It was quite a while between the Norwich game and the arsenal game; we also went into that arsenal game vying for top spot. Had we won we could have been top.

Tried too hard sometimes to show he was worth the price tag.

I meant scoring first in the Norwich game when we were quite literally donning them, they could well have crumbled rather than grown in to the game. Add those 3 points to the tally. In the Man U game again first half, another game where if we had scored first they could have crumbled rather than us nicking a late equaliser.

Different results in those 2 could well have seen us going into that Arsenal game to be rightfully top (OR already top) not just top for a few hours as it would have been.

Swings and roundabouts and of course other players have other chances squandered but just stuck in my mind that there were a number of chances where Osvaldo could have scored with a first time hit from close range but tried to get the ball under control and move it before a strike instead. Lambert also missed quite a few chances around the same period.
