Alright chaps? Sorry for barging in and setting up a thread. I'm a long-time lurker of this forum so for what I'm after it was common sense to come here and ask. I'm on a stag do tomorrow, bus load of us heading to Thirsk races, and I was wondering if any of the wise heads on here could point me in the right direction of some winners to help swell the beer kitty? Thanks in advance guys!
Having had a quick look Stew, I can't see anything I would bet on but maybe one of the proper tipsters on here can suggest something. Have a good day regardless.
With being all Sunderland lads I can see THE FULWELL END being a popular punt in the first. Apart from that I can't see much either.
Hardly a wise head but if I was punting at Thirsk tomorrow I'd be looking at the partnership of a very decent claimer and a fiddling bastard trainer. Megan Carberry and Brian Ellison boast a 20% strike rate when teaming up and have 3 there tomorrow. All ew prices too. Oh and Jack Luey in the lucky last has been knocking on the door recently. Have a great day.
2.30 - Miss Mullbery- 7/1 Progressive type and was bit unlucky lto and is now weighted to reverse the form with the winner that day; any improvement on that run should be enough
OSTEOPATHIC REMEDY 3:40 @ 33-1, won this race two years ago and now racing from below that mark. If he bounced back to form, big if, he could belie those odds!
I have had a look and could put up 3 selections from Thirsk but just to put it into perspective it is a devilishly difficult card and I actually will not be backing any of these myself tomorrow. If I were attending however and betting for fun this is where my money would go. 2.30 Diamond Creek 6-1 3.40 Anderegio 6-1 5.20 Singeur 10 -1 (best bet) Good luck
Singeur 5:20 @ 11/1 BetVictor Down 5 lbs in the weights and to a rating of 84 , this 0-85 handicap is a significant drop in class for this horse, he has spent most of his career running in Class 2 and 3 events. Singeur has been running consistantly in some of the best northern sprint races this season mainly over 5 furlongs. The step up to 6 furlongs, together with the drop in class and weights should see him go very close to winning the lucky last and @ 11/1 is a stonking Each Way bet (1st 3 Places Paid @ 1/4 the Odds). I would advise taking the 11/1 early price as the local Bastiman stable enjoy a punt and think the odds will be a lot shorter come 5:20p.m.? Enjoy the day
****ing hell Stick well done I knew I'd seen that horse posted somewhere. Hope the fella who started the thread took the tip
Great call Stick - I hope the lad is taking these tips as Wooley also put him onto Miss Mulbury in the 2.30 as well. Attivo and myself have put up Singeaur later as well which has a chance. He could be having a good day.
Feck me! Had a look at it last night then Forgot all about it @ "Double Carpet" 33/1 "The Daddy" Brings home the Bacon !! Delighted for yourself & The Lads .............I bet the future wife isn't happy With so many rashers in the kitty....will the stag do end in time for the wedding ? Good Luck
