If we get Forster he should have to win the shirt. Still think Boruc is the better keeper myself.

Ronald likes attacking wide men, so I can't see JWP playing out there. The middle of the park looks likely to be very competitive for a starting spot and as it's the main engine room I think we look in good shape there.

Wouldn't be the worst question in the World to ask Celtic fans who they think is best from Boruc or Forster. Of course, they might not be inclined to answer at all, and who could blame them. But they always thought Artur was a legend.

I have to say the dark blue shirt, yellow shorts and socks combo is the best kit I have ever seen us wear. Love it.

That's a customised kit. A combination of this season's Away shirt and something fairly similar to an Away kit we had a few seasons back. I liked it too. I like the whole official Away kit as well. For some peculiar reason [I mean, Who would care..?] I quite like the fact that we have different sponsor names on the Home and Away kits, as well. Veho and Muvi.

If Forster signs then I can't see Boruc hanging around if Fraser walks straight into number one spot

JWP's goal was outstanding, for a kid with a shot like a rifle, he ought to be encouraged to shoot from outside the box, hopefully Koeman will do just that as a man that can appreciate a thunderous shot.

I'm going to mention it. Looking back on those Brighton highlights, I notice Steven Davis has even more of a swagger about him these days. Although it wasn't his trademark move before, he used to do a few Cruyff Turns himself, and there were a couple during the highlights too. Davis can look so good at times, spraying the ball about, or showing some neat footwork, that one wonders why people often fail to make a mention.

Well, at least I do anyway. So I have. Great player and I love the fact he plays for Saints.

I definitely prefer him with fewer defensive duties

Had a great season and looks like he is going to continue that again from the evidence of pre-season. Perfect player for our possession/high press game Type of player in our team which prevents me from panicking about next season

Well, I feel a lot more upbeat having seen the team on action

JWP and Tadić were our best two players, closely followed by Isgrove, Fonte and Pellè.

Pellè's hold up play is absolutely superb, but he should've finished better. Felt like he was snatching at chances and was a bit too eager to impress. But his strength and awareness was really impressive. He can spot a pass, too.

Tadić is a real maverick and sees things others don't. He can replace Adam, for sure. He got his Twente chant used, too, which he applauded the fans for. Saints fans will love him.

Big Vic looked good considering he's just back. Cork looked a little sloppy at times, and Davis looked generally tidy. Now, Bertrand looked good going forward. Good attacking intent and movement. But I didn't see him win a single header and he did get pushed about a bit. But he lends himself very well to the attacking side of our game. Clyne was steady, and already has some good chemistry with Tadić down the right hand side.

Kelvin was really poor and shouldn't be getting near the pitch. Sorry, Kelv.

To finish on a positive, I surprised myself with he impressed I was by Lloyd Isgrove. That loan spell has really helped him. Tremendous work rate and movement, and his crossing has improved a lot. He could be useful from the bench this season.

    Now, bed. :)

Kelv will be third choice, but someone should send him to get his coaching badges. Future manager.
