Rodgers/Liverpool are blacklisted remember for attempting to tap up Bony's agent and getting caught in the process. Forgotten Dai? Bony's agent was caught leaving Rodgers's office, remember? along with everyone's favourite N Irishman, caught bang-to-rights by a talk-sport reporter. It gets even better Dai, that reporter was due to make a live report, on air, on talk-sport. During his report he announced that Bony was almost certainly going to Liverpool as he'd just seen Bony's agent there, at Anfield, leaving Rodgers office. Serendipity or what? That's how we, and the world, found out that sneaky Rodgers had been tapping up Bony's agent Dai. HJ, upon hearing this, went to the press immediately, announcing his disappointment in Rodgers underhand behaviour and renounced the sneaky way he'd gone about his business. On the surface a natural response, but the true reason for HJ going to the press was clever to the extreme. The true reason HJ employed the press was to very quickly announce that he/we had no prior knowledge of the 'meetings' between Rodgers and the agent. It was vital this be made public asap, and before any club could initiate the buyout clause of £19m. The second it was made public that we were not party to any meeting with Rodgers and Bony's agent regarding the sale of Bony the now public buy out clause was rendered mute. It also muted any additional clauses appended to Bony's contract which had been negotiated privately between his agent and our legals on behalf of Swansea City AFC. And the blind still insist that HJ and or our board are stupid, sharp is what they are, sharp as they come. The fallout of this has been very favourable to us as now we can ask what we like for Bony and we can reject what we don't like too. Probably why there's been little coming from Liverpool or the scouse press about Bony and probably why Spurs are quiet too. If they want him, they'll have to pay, they know it and we know it and hence our sideways snipes at Liverpool by announcing freely that it will take a massive offer to prise Bony away from us. Thank you Brendan, because of you we have the opportunity to reap just reward for our prised player. Ironically, that's the very same player turned down by Liverpool as not being good enough to wear their shirt. PRICELESS, absolutely fekkin PRICELESS.
