    Quote of the month.

    Never a truer word.

Joey Barton should line up as captain on 16th August.

Are you saying we are poking around in attack or we are groping with their defence?

If that was late in a match that actually counts, that's how you drop 2 pts.

Barton looks really up for this season. SWP absolutely shocking, surely he cant get any more match time.

Par for the course. The moment they play our "first 11" is the moment you know these have stopped being jumped-up fitness training sessions. Bring on the Ireland tour!

I would've said he'd found his level Vs Orient, but he looked worse/more error-prone than all those L1 players.

Three at the back aint working if we concede 2 trying it out, 4 in the last 2 games but who's counting yet eh? Hoilett looked sharp and linked well, but what was up with Charlie? I thought he looked a bit stiff and reluctant to shoot, That Shoulder better be ready.

Still think Caulker picked up a knock first half.

Kids did ok, Ehmer & Harriman look good.

    SWP 0/10

From the 2nd half only and mssed bits:

1 Positive only for me was Joey Baron -seemed like we needed 9 more outfield players like him.

Negatives were Traore who still looks like a fish out of water starting in front of left back. If he can't get past Orient he's not going to do it there in the PL. Hoillet still can't cross. Charlie looked like he was an out of form League 2 striker.

Don't understand all the sh*te about SWP - he was very up and down in execution, but better than the above and apart from Joey, got involved more than anyone I saw out there. Looked liked he was trying hard which other than Barton and Traore (with little success) was more than I saw from the rest.

Sorry Oslo SWP did very little, wins nothing in the air ever and when handed an almost open goal he missed the target. Seriously his last shot on goal was the one against Chelsea 2 years ago!

Hoilet had the orange boots on and tried so hard he was blowing out his arse, SWP was wearing the smart white w**king strap and yellow boots and put 1 ball through to Charlie in the entire match. Henry made more yards with the ball at his feet than SWP.

Remember with Flyer away I'm doing the work of two men here.

This exactly. I'd would say a max of 7 tonight inc. Subs will make first proper match, that's half that won't get to play all season, will be sold or loaned out.

Henry man of the match for me. Did anyone see that corner he put in? It was lethal! If he could get it to dip in that quickly every time I'd want him to be our constant corner taker.

His kick had a certain shape to it all game actually. They all pinged and dipped quickly. Maybe he's learning a few new tricks at his ripe old age.

Ok, don't work too hard! Like I said I only saw bits of the game like when SWP put Charlie through and otherwise he was involved a lot. He should have scored at the end but then he wasn't far off and many would have missed that. I didn't see Hoillets goal. Was it Henry who nearly scored from close to the half way line?

We looked asleap at the back near the end - Orient had at least 2 good chances on our right,Green saved just before they scored.

Still match fitness games by the sounds of it, with the Ireland tour still ahead of us.
Harry bemoaning lack of strikers, with OBZ not fit apparently.
Club needs to step up the ante and get on with the key signings needed.
Get Remy sorted one way or the other and same goes for AT (train like a professional or cancel his contract and use the £65k salary on someone who does want to play for us).

I quite like the new system. When everyone is on it, it gave us options to pass the ball. It quickly turns attacking when needed, and defensive when needed.

However, we are so thin on the ground it is worrying tbh. 1 fit striker and no creative influence from midfield yet.
