I'd take most rumours over the next few days with a pinch of salt, most media outlets will be making guesses now Ralph has confirmed we're close on three players.

FIFA pace whore alert. Parma had a very impressive season though, so wouldn't mind a couple of their lot.

Some more attacking options and a left and centre back are the top priorities.

a Back 5 of Forster, Clyne, Fonte, Van Dikj and Rojo would be amazing.

 

Rojo for £12m. That's more like it.

 

Just pay it and get him, before some other irritant comes sniffing around.

 

I don't actually know how good he's been for Sporting. Good at the world cup though.

Like I said in a previous post, the players signed since we got promoted with the exception of that c**k Lovren and obviously Osvaldo seem happy. Clyne, Davis, Boruc and Wanyama have kept quiet or said good things.

It wasn't a hard sell by Cortese to get these players as we were already in the promised land of the Premier League so I doubt they would've been too concerned when he left.

Get rid of anyone else who doesn't want to be herehere(poss Morgan) and then we can truely build a team for the future.

Also to those talking about Cork being surplus, if this was the case would he have featured in the promo for the new kit?

Clyne, Davis, JWP, Rodriguez and Fonte also appeared.Does this mean we aren't expecting them to leave or is it just simply that the big names were all in Brazil?

 

I'm willing to bet that he's substantially better than Targett, sod it, get him in quick sharp. Hell, we might as well flog Targett for £18m to fund it.

 

Rojo would be an amazing signing, left back or centre back, and for 12M a steal. Suprised the bin dippers arent in for him.

 

He hasn't played for us, yet.

 

They got Countiniho last season when we were after him, the f*****s let us have Forren though.
Rojo got sent off 4 times for Lisbon last season.

 

I know we've probably moved on, just got in form work so catching up,

the fact that Turnbull, and not Stephens, suggests to me that Stephens is being kept with us, probably as backup?
