Apparently Luke is being stuck to work on fitness routines on his own because Van Gaal says he's not fit enough. Hope he trains so hard his ligaments snap.
I like the way Van Gaal has said Luke is not fit and then goes on to say that he has a 'broken squad'. He knew what he was walking into and I can't believe he is already making excuses for next season....
As Koeman said to a journalist: I won't talk about van Gaal's character, you'll find that out for yourself.
Will be interesting, they've pretty much kept their successful side from last year together - what with the re-sign of Barry as well. He will get better, but I think that's Evertons budget for the next 10 years...gone!!!!
It's a lot of money to keep them equally as good as they were last season. And as I've said before, he's not actually that good. Couple more like that and they'll have a go at 4th though.
No I don't reckon it is. With all the TV money and the way players prices are going, that's fairly normal fare these days. They could get about the same amount for Baines, Barkley, even Mirallas these days (if they were desperate and the beauty for Everton is that they're not). And if you look at it as £10m more than Osvaldo (which we managed to afford) I think it's a bloody good deal. I wish we'd bought him (or Bony) for that money. More and more I'm looking at Everton as the club to emulate (sigh).
