This is a non statement. Address the actual issue here, what is going on at the club and why does everyone want to leave? Tell us why the club has sold all the best players and what the long term strategy is from here. The real statement from the club is the continued departure of first team players and the banking of big cheques, these actions speak volumes. Our two signings dont even add up to the money banked from Chambers. What does that tell us?

Well from that post from Guan it seems that the inevitable has come to pass, we have become a joke and now nobody wants to join us, surprise, sur-****ing-surprise. It really is genuinely refreshing how people that would be branded criminally incompetent in almost any other industry seem to thrive within the ridiculous world of football.

 

I still believe DTLW is correct about two players coming in very soonish.

No not what I was meaning at all. I was seriously asking what the point of coming out and talking about Callum was, he's explaining how a window got broken while the house is burning down. The club has banked 10s of millions and continues to sell players yet the total re-investment to date is a comparative pittance. I only have my own opinion based on what I see but we are not spending big to replace the big sales. I dont see a substantial will to rebuild the squad in all this.
