Is it me or is he doing his level best to get remy sold ??? This could be the stroke of luck we need him failing a medical , maybe their will be a chance of holding on to him , yet all I keep reading is how Harry believes he's perfectly fine ect.... Fittest ever been ect..... Must have been some other reason ect..... Harry pls shut up and try and keep and add to our strikes force !!!
The slant I took was that he's welcome bk but if any one wants him snap him up because their is nothing wrong with him . Why not keep shtoom about fitness in public and privately welcome him bk ? Now u will get Newcastle and the like sniffing around again .... Just does not seem the most wise of moves .... We will need him next season for sure we look so thin up top for a long prem season
Presumably the £8m was going into Harry's war chest. He'd rather have the cash than a player that he believes thinks he's too good to play for the club
"I said last year he was capable of scoring 20 goals in the Premier League. That's what we now want him to do for us." seems a pretty clear statement of intent to me!
Remy is going nowhere. He's paid £75000 p/w, no club outside the Champions League are either capable or willing to pay him that kind of money. He has himself stated that he sees no point in moving sideways and only a club in the Champions League would make him move permanently. He'll start against Hull unless Liverpool change their mind.
There are Champions League clubs in other countries as well. Though I suspect only Real, Barca, PSG and perhaps, for the right person, Bayern, would pay as much as an English club. And not for him because they already have the best, and he's not quite there yet.
"He had a stringent one here, one at Marseille and at Newcastle and with France before the World Cup. You couldn't meet a fitter lad." Harry has a point ref the medical.
I would suggest more a case of Remy desperate to leave. He's made it quite clear that his future lies elsewhere, so Harry has made his plans which include transfer targets to not include him. Not Harry's fault it fell through!
The problem is it's hard to plan without knowing if he is going, getting players in that want first team football but will be wondering if they will be fighting against Remy will put off players, the real worry is we don't get anyone in and then he goes in the last couple of days of the window!
I believe the club actually is very keen to sell. Remy's vages alone can pay for Austin, Deeney and Iceman 2. But I don't see anyone being able to match his vages, even Arsenal who could didn't want to.

I think he's here until January at least with a point to prove. I'm hoping Liverpool's rejection fires him up.
