Are you talking about Clasie, I think he is the only player that I have seen us linked to that would be an upgrade. Having said that, I would have thought Clasie would be to replace Morgan?
Clasie, Onazi and a couple of others - I'm not sure how reliable these links are, but it seems quite likely we're looking at CMs. And he might be, true - I think my subconscious keeps making me forget that Morgan is off. That said, I think I also heard a suggestion that Koeman might prefer JWP to Cork anyway.
The interesting thing about JWP is that I think he was one of the few players where our style didn't suit him last season, and he just ended up running about trying to look busy. When you watch him play for England U21s it's impressive watching them use him as an outlet from defence and they use his incredible range of passing much better than we did. Hopefully Koeman can get the best out of him.
A friend whose brother is a football agent is claiming we might be in for Stoppila Sunzu. Never heard of him until now but Wikipedia seem to show he did well for Sochaux netting them 4 goals in 17 apps. Not too bad for a CB. (Also played alongside Mayuka when Zambia won the African cup) Then again this might just be the agent trying to generate interest
