    Sounds like HCAFC are surprised at United accepting our bid for Maguire... from 5 days ago.

    Reckon we moved on to Jenkinson and now don't know what to do haha. Would rather Jenkinson..

    Reckon the money that would've been spent on Maguire had gone to the Jenko bid.

    Then Sheff U bottle it, and we need to choose.

    'Goal' are the ones saying Arsenal have accepted our bid. Can't link it at the mo.

    I would rather Jenkinson.

    We may go Maguire as the 'safe' option though.

    If its a choice, Jenkinson every day of the week. So much more potential, not to mention experience.

    I would rather get Jenkinson, even though they play different positions.

    Presumably this is why the club is having a meeting this afternoon, if it is true of course. The money originally for Maguire was now going to Arsenal for Jenkinson.

    As said in another thread, Robertson, Maguire & Jenkinson, 3 young British defenders to cover across the whole back 4. LB, CB & RB. Which if we have the money, is exactly what we need. Rosenior is of course 1st choice RB but he needs cover and there needs to be competition for places!

    I'm not sure.

    Start of last season Arsenal where playing Sagna at centre half and Jenkinson at right back. His natural position is definitely right back. So I very much doubt this has anything to with the Maguire.

    Speaking to an Arsenal mate, they were very keen to turn him into a CB and have been working on doing that with him over the last season. The idea was to loan him out this season to get more experience at CB, but now it looks like they're selling him?
