Hi folks, I've been followin 606 and now not606 for yonks, but there's one question that's been buggin me for ages, to the point that i've decided to sign up.................. Why do you refer to Sir neil as COLIN?
While we're on the point, I just can't fathom why Rs fans would refer to our most effective manager in years as 'Colin'. Is it because we appreciate an anagram, the irony involved or deep down think he's a ****er? With all he's achieved, it has to be 'Sir' Neil for me!
Here Here Brixton Long live Sir Neil! Not sure 'colin' is a good reflection of his success, where many (too many to count) have failed.
Can't remember who it was, but someone pointed out that an anagram of Flavio Briatore was Fat ravioli Bore
How about a pole for the favourite flavio anagram? 1. VIBRATE AIR FOOL 2. TRIVIA BARE FOOL 3. BIVARIATE FLOOR Answers on a postcard to turbo_quups
Brix, the truth is we all pretty much regarded him as a w****r before he joined so it would be a bit juvenile if we suddenly decided he's the nicest, balanced most reasonable man on the planet just cos he's now our manager. Sure he's mellowed a bit with age but wait til you see him next season when we are getting beat every week! God help the Ref's! Good to discuss it though cos he is still a ledge!
Nice context point Swords, thanks for that. But if Warnock's a universally acclaimed ****er, what's Dave Jones? I'll leave it to quups (clearly our resident anagram boffin) to work that one out!! PS - Welcome to the board quups!
Probably a cheeky chappie at the heart of this, but Warnock's Wikipedia page says that his middle name is Colin......
Interesting Willy... if true that would certainly justify the use of his nickname and the ****er thing would hang in the breeze forever after. Poor ol' Neil (sure he'll manage!).
What's that Camb, DJ getting soaked whilst trying to hold back Cardiff's demise? Like it. It's no anagram but it'll do for me!!
