He needs to go now really. In fairness to him it does appear that he wants to prove himself here. Difficult.
Yeah, we often moan about players not putting in the effort etc and when one does want to stay and fight for his place, we wish he'd **** off lol. Problem is, at the moment, we could get something which is probably double his value and may never get that money again. I think if teams were offering £7m for him then we'd be a bit less reluctant for him to go and wouldn't mind him sticking around and fighting for a place.
Interesting. Better to be safe than have him suddenly brake down with an issue and be out for a season or two with damage to his knee. I'd expect some sort of confidentiality agreement with it though so no surprise Liverpool claim it's something else o not to damage Remy's chances with other teams.
Nah, he's too lazy for how we play. I heard we were still going through with Remy, but the medical was just taking a while because ours normally do. Kind of like how Ba had knee problems but managed fine, Remy similarly could keep on playing and at 8.5mill, isn't a huge gamble.
Pearce is normally reliable so I'd be surprised if he had got the wrong end of the stick. But yea, 8.5 is good value- but not if he has really bad underlying issues. Afterall, the last thing we want is a crocked striker on a 5 year contract at 70k who is happy to milk us until he retires
re borini... if he leaves on a loan what he is really saying is "i just used staying and fighting as an excuse i don't want to go to sunderland permanently" If he runs out with his tail between his legs hoping to play another year under poyet and socre 15-20 goals... well he's trying to get a move to an italian club. the reality is poyet should tell him to stuff it.
LiverpoolFF ‏@LiverpoolFF · 31m Good news though - @BenSmithBBC confirms that Liverpool have signed Lovren and it will be announced tomorrow!
The Mirror are suggesting that you should look at Dani Osvaldo - if you're going to nick any more of our players, really, be our guest with this one! http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/loic-remy-liverpool-deal-off-3921177
God no! We wont sign him because his name doesnt start with an L. Would any of you guys still take Eric Lamela? And had he stayed at Roma would you all be bringing his name up to replace Suarez?
His main issue was he really didnt want to leave Italy but Roma took the money and forced him to go. But he has apparently now found a new leas of life.
I just read that the Remy deal is 100% dead due to a heart problem revealed during his medical. Apparently, he's failed 4 medicals in his career, all for the same thing http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/loic-remy-deal-liverpool-fc-7515432
Liverpool transfer news: Reds manager Brendan Rodgers back in for Jay Rodriguez as Southampton raid continues http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...thampton-raid-continues--reports-9631173.html It wont happen. It just wouldnt be fair.
