    Perhaps Jose could ask Spurs for a few hints on how to spend millions in the market and win exactly the same as Crewe Alexandra year in, year out?

    I know I'm in the minority, but for me this deal sums up everything that is wrong with the thinking at our club. The short-termism of our planning is shocking, it really is.

    Anyone else hoping he will start ahead of costa ? I personally do not rate costa in the slightest and am very happy diving didier (has a good ring to it) is back

    I disagree. For clubs that aren't as rich as us, yes long term planning is important but also risky, see man Utd with Luke shaw <ok>. But because our owner is filthy rich money will never be a problem, allowing us to buy the best players when they're at their peak. It's just how it is
