All over the news outlets now... Looks very official - so does he stay with us or does someone else take a risk like we did with Charlie?? This could be very good news for us - or another Andy Johnson... Thoughts?
I didn't want to post anything as I can be ridiculously superstitious and didn't want to tempt fate as it were (yeah stupid I know) but as soon as Rodriguez signed for Madrid I had an instinct that Liverpool would pull out of signing Remy and go for Benzema as he is far closer to being a lead striker replacement for Suarez. Now Remy may have been mugged off due to fitness issues or whatever but will be interesting to see Liverpool's next move now. Anyway hopefully Remy will want to stay at the R's and show Brendan what he could have had.
I wonder about the reason for this. I hope he stays but not if he does have a serious medical problem.

Wow - Didnt see that coming (or not going, as the case may be ????) Be really sad to be lumbered with an injured Remy - of all the bad luck !!!!
Bad luck indeed; it's likely we will now have to endure a whole lot more of this type of injury prone play next season....
How much will this scare off people?....Obviously Arsenal will go nowhere near him now, but Spurs and Newcastle???. But what does he do (stay, play in Prem, prove everyone wrong and hope for a move in Jan or next summer or try and get some big money move to Turkey or Russia)...and what do we do? As usual we can do nothing except wait to see what happens next...we are always the mugs in this sort of thing (does it happen to other clubs...or is it just us???)
His release clause is reputed to be higher for a non-top four club, so it might work out better for us either way if he still moves.

He's also just been convicted on a DD charge. Maybe Liverpool want someone with less bite in their character now they've lost Jaws.
Hopefully he will play for us at least until the January window. Didn't have a problem playing for Newcastle last season.
This could be Charlie Austin -case all over again. Remember last season when Hull pulled off because Charlie failed in their medical and we get him.....
