I'll be wearing casual, as I do for every City game. Anybody know what the weather's going to be like?

The weather's going to be hot and very wet apparently, 28 degress with thunderstorms.

I've no idea how many are going, but the flights are getting full up, as are the hotels, so there's got to be a fairly decent turn-out.

Dress code!! You're English abroad FFS. Shorts, socks n sandals and walk with a haughty attitude. Speak loudly and if they dont understand a gentle cuff round the ear till they do.

My hotel is next to the ground but the rooms seem to face the wrong way so I suppose I will have to collect my ticket.

Me vest su vest Bob but as you say I'm on holiday.

Flip flops are a no no. Picture the scene:

Its all going well in Zilina main square, chilled out relaxed a carnival atmosphere if you will.

Then theres an incident, a slur if you will on one of the Tiger Nation. Stewey calls for battle formation- form square. Time is of the essence- you cant get there you trip up running in flip flops. Stewey cant think of Two Little Boys any more since the Rolf incident- you are now a casualty.

Theres a reason the Romans conquered this area- Sandals. FACT

Hi it's a Rochdale fan here in peace!

I've just come back yesterday from a ten day holiday in Trencin Slovakia, due to other half whose originally from there.

Any Q's Trencin.... then please reply?

    Good luck Thursday (stay safe)

    Up the Dale!

PS. How do you post photos on this forum?... as I went on unauthorised tour of ground last Thursday... it'll be a culture shock & make Spotland look like Nou Camp lol! Seriously ground is very run down with.terracing not used. One covered stand. The 3G pitch will prob give the Slovakians advantage in first leg, but can see Tigers going through after two legs.

Apologies city fans....just realised game is Zilina lol!

Zilina as a place is a total dump... you'll see ground on left hand side if you com on train (its green/yellow).

Tbh Trencin is in the middle of Bratislava and Zilina and it'd be better for you if they played the game at Slovan Bratislava rather than Zilina.

You pass Trencin on train on way to Zilina... and its worth a visit in the historical town if you've got time loads of great bars & a cracking castle.for the culture geeks lol!

Beer is.mega cheap... Zlaty Bazant, Corgon, Topvar, Smadny Mnich all around 80c - 1€

Enjoy... it was in mid 30's last week lol!
