    ...... http://www.kickoff.co.uk/22598/are-sunderland-targeting-this-colombian-striker/?

"Teofilo Gutierrez is a different type of striker to Borini, but he would surely relish the hustle and bustle of life in the Premier League.

Radamel Falcao has benefited from playing alongside the experienced frontman at international level and Wickham would be hoping to profit in similar fashion should he move to the Stadium of Light."

Not for me. Worry when a player, at 29, has only spent a year outside of South America.

Nowt has been said which suggests the club are 'in talks' and he'll either sign or leave.

Have any of our South American signings ever been successful? I don't think it's ever been a good hunting ground for us.

How could you forget Julio? And IIRC Emerson Thome was quite handy for us as well. But yes, we've had more than our share of stinkers as well

Any alternative to Borini won't be just a striker, it will be a striker who could play on the wing

Van Gall will begin his 'clear out' soon and there'll be a few going you might not expect.

We need Typical Terry back on here asap tbh.

Looking at the you tube clips hope not, only got half way through it and all they could show was a couple of tap ins and a fair few missing of sitters.

I'd take welbeck, pace, shooting ability and the fact that he can win the ball from any position. All round he is a fantastic player.
