You may be right on the playing front FDSA, but I doubt he gives a monkeys about short term PR. By the time he gets in the Arsenal team consistently, we'll have likely forgotten about him!

There is a lot of talk of players leaving but again its up to interpretation..It could be fire sale..it could be that they're being sold to allow a lined up replacement to come in..it could be the players/agents demands...It could be that we need the money to fund wage bills for new arrivals...etc etc

I'm not sitting here with rose tinted glasses on all im saying is that squabbling like our thuggish cousins at SW doesn't help and that we wont have any idea of the clubs plans until the window closes.

 

The second one is 100% her fault.

On the first point, how much do you think NC was prepared to compromise?

 

Well now, there is a lot of players leaving, that's not talk. But yes, agreed that we need to sit, wait, and see. It may be we have a very exciting (Dutch) team on our hands by the time the season starts.

Not at all. It was his way or the highway. He was a dictator. I just happen to think he was a very effective one.

 

I very much doubt he was, and perhaps (going back on what I said) there was no way around that. However, I said it at the time until I was blue in the face, she needed to replace him with someone respected, talented and strong. She managed to do the diametric opposite to that which severely weakened us in the face of the vultures, and moreover to the players.

 

Unless we plan to sign Bale and Ronaldo I'm not sure we need any more money.

 

So he walked, which casts a shadow for me. He was a strong leader, full if his own self confidence. I'd have thought he'd have fancied his chances with a new owner. He didn't even wait to find out.

Why would he? Takeovers take months and he'd be doing his job, seven days as week as he did, not knowing if he's even going to be keeping it.

Yes there are. I was just referring to the players currently rumored to go. And if we can replace our losses with apparently almost every member of the Dutch NT then i will be very very happy.
