The second I read that Kieron Westwood had joined Sunderland, I had a strong feeling that Leeds will now keep Kasper as the only replacement good enough to replace Kasper, has gone elsewhere out of the blue. Schemichal for 1.5+ and Westwood on a free wld be very good buisness, but I think now SG has got some serious thinking to do, he's lost the chance of signing a gd keeper. Unless its the Beckford saga, took ages to leave the club, it was agonising but he did go. So we he stay or will he go .......
CAn't see how the grayson has slagged him off in public he can possibly stay. Complete cock up by the club
Thing is that im miffed off about, he'll be worth 6/7 million wen he's about 28/29. Most keeprs are at their best around there late 20's and stay decent through till the end, Kasper has shown great promise at just 24/25. 1.5 mil is a joke if it is the amount were losing him for. We still need 5/6 players and the season starts in jus over a month, we int gona be ready
I dont associate with fools like him, I posted this thread for you guys to discuss. So im guessing your happy were losing Kasper then?? or ur just in a hump cos weve beat you another topic
Yeah I'm happy with losing him. Won't be happy if we get a poor replacement but right now I'm pretty content.
To be honest at first I was a little shocked, although not disappointed. I'm indifferent to whether he stays or goes, although if we can find a replacement that knows how to command his area and his defense, and with decent distribution then I'd rather Kasper went. An ok shot stopper with those qualities is a far better prospect than Schmeichel and he's had far too much recognition on his name alone.
A shambles...... we have gone down a narrow road and not chance of turning round now.... we should have left it alone and focussed on signing the players we needed to get us up.... if we go up im sure he would have signed a new deal....if we dont he goes...not different to Beckford Johnson Killkeny Piss poor management
Thats the problem, our replacement will be half as good at best, we cant afford a good one, we cant afford to pay a good one. Only chance we have is to sign a premier league keeper on a season long loan like Norwich did (Forster) and Cardiff (Heaton)
How on earth can you presume that anyone we get will be half as good? As i've said already his only quality was his quick reaction time and shot stopping ability. He had no chemistry with the defense whatsoever. So how can anyone not be an improvement?
Que Keepers dont tend to get any better at 30 any more, its a myth. And i think he's a good keeper, but with little scope for improvement and will never be worth 6/7 m in my eyes Not sad he's leaving just the way its all been done And marko is a knobhead
And your someone who knows FA, and so instead of giving their opinion, just moans at other opinion. Bit of a dick really
Just because I disagree with your insatiable whining about how nothing at all is being done right at Leeds (yet instead of protesting and refusing to back them with money, as far as I'm aware you continue to get season tickets), does not mean I know FA. The simple fact of the matter is that you constantly and repeatedly choose to highlight the negative points about all the happenings at Elland Road and disregard the positives as irrelevant. There are plenty of positive things happening, but you make a concious choice to only look for the negative and pick out everything that's going wrong, then constantly whine about it day after day, about the same tired subjects that we're all aware of but some of us choose not to let it get us down because there's plenty of good things to balance it out. You never contribute anything useful to any discussions and just put people down who don't agree with you, despite the fact that their opinions are just as valuable (and more often than not, more valuable, due to them being constructive rather than destructive) than yours. A negative mental attitude exudes from you and unfortunately it's infectious. It breeds disbelief and before you know it one little highlighted bad point of the team (against a back drop of good points) has turned into booing the players at matches. Then what happens? It spreads even further. Of course, this is highly exagerated and your rambling on like a kid who can't get his way on here is very unlikely to end up getting in the players heads but this is how negativity can have a detrimental effect on people. Also it bugs the hell out of me.
Thing is am not always negative, you just for some reason look at the negative things and blank out the positve things. I said I agree with the club about selling kasper, its the way its been done. I always say we will get promoted (this been the first i havent) And you know what, if I dont like a thread, i don't read it or comment on it
