This lad turned down Liverpool to sign for City. So why one year on would he want away? He has already, at 16, played in our first team. Why go elsewhere now?
I believe a fee was never agreed with Liverpool??Heard various rumours that playing in the first team was part of his contract agreement. How true that is I don't know!! He is potentially a very good attacking player with great vision. Staying at Bristol seems a good option if he is given his chance. He is now on a pro contract so permission would have had to be given by the club before he went anyway.
There are a couple of our youth players being followed by other clubs. Hopefully we can keep them together as I would like to see how they do in the FA Youth Cup this year.
