Just wondering whether there are any bands, songs, films, footie players, whatever that are labelled great and that you just don't see the appeal in.

    For me...

    Elbow or Coldplay.

Another Brick in the Wall, love the floyd but that's commercial ****e.

Back to the Future, sick of it's cult following telling me it's a masterpiece, it's nonsense. Badly written, badly acted nonsense.

Controversial but Paul Scholes. I know the lad was a cracking player but I get bored of hearing so and so said he was the best player he ever played against when the player's also played against the likes of Messi, the Ronaldos (Fat and Thin) and ****ing Maldini. Great player but nowhere near the best I've ever seen.

This could also have been called the whinge thread.

Coldplay should have packed in years ago. Agree on BTTF, just don't see the appeal of it being a great, its alright but not a great. Elbow, I can honestly say never heard a single song, or I have and couldn't tell you it was Elbow as it left absolutely no impression. Pink Floyd is just self-indulgent and monotonous. Scissor Sisters Comfortably Numb is better.

One of my own- Nandos. Its just chicken and chips.

Utterly overpriced as well mate. They were genius in that they used celebrities, loyalty cards and twitter to make a name for themselves.

First of all i hate the use of double negatives in that song. It is not intelligent writing. Would have avoided the problem completely had they just replaced the word no with your. You want education? You want thought control? <doh>

What the **** is Biffy Clyro all about? Somebody needs to tell them that they're cheesy and not yanks.

Lord of the ****ing rings, three-three hour films with eight hours of ****ing walking.

Jermaine Defoe, inconsistant and nowt but a manky little rat.

KFC with ideas above its station. .

Also. Brewdog beer. Overhopped pish. The bar in aberdeen is full of real ale ****ers and hipsters. Dont get me wrong, I like a pint of real ale. But screw it. If I want a pint of Tennents I'm going to have a pint of Tennents.

I'm a huge Brooklyn beer drinker, of the craft ales it's a god. In pretty much all of its forms as well.

My problem with Brewdog is the people who seem to hype it up the most down in London are all Scottish.

If you drink Iron Bru you don't have a credible opinion on beverages.

Band - The Beatles - Mediocre at best, just inoffensive and generally boring!
TV - Fawlty Towers - The farcical nature just frustrates and gets on my tits, never laughed out loud once!
Film - Trainspotting or The Matrix - Just didn't enjoy Trainspotting and I couldn't make head nor tail of the Matrix
Celeb - Russell Brand - BERK! Don't know how he makes a living out of celebrity!
Food - Takeaways! Around my area you cant get a decent takeaway! There a 3 chip shops within a 2 mile radius! All seemingly run by the same Asian family with exactly the same menu! All end up tasting the same, bland!! Same with a Chinese. All run by the same families....you can tell which ones, ones that have English names like China Yummy and Treasure Tasty and with brand new expensive looking signs, what happened to dingy looking little ones called something like Ho Pings Chop Suey House. They were canny! The nicest pizza I can get from round my way are those ones from Asda that they make in shop! Most pizza shops are now total and utter rank! I believe takeaways have lost their individuality! Might as well go to McDonalds or Burger King now....and that's saying something!

Out of all fast food restaurants, a KFC is the only one which does exactly what it says on the tin! Cant complain! How McDonalds & Burger King can get away with showing big far juicy looking burgers on their adverts then hand you the flat piece of splat wrapped in paper I do not know!

Interesting you should say that. By law they had to change their name from Kentucky Fried Chicken as what they serve isn't what's considered to be chicken by legal standards <yikes>

    I won't eat there myself.
