I am looking forward to seeing how Drinkwater and James do, I really rate both of them.

Livermore scored 3 goals and made 4 last season. They're not the stats to make someone worth 8m, not in a million years.

    Based on what?

His last season he scored 6 goals, one less than Shane Long and Nikica Jelavic did in their last full seasons.

Alas, I don't know how many times I have to explain that he's not a goalscorer. Good thing he's 3rd choice, eh?

I think we need to sign someone to play next to them. Really hoping we go for Leroy Fer. He'd be ideal.

I've already said we've overspent on Ulloa.

However I do think that we've bagged a player we desperately needed. We've not had a striker with his presence for years. We'll score more goals through set pieces and crosses. It's clear that we'll be trying to get in as many crosses as possible next season. Which is why I think Albrighton is such a good signing.

With the inflation of transfer fees relative to the increase in tv money, Livermore is what would previously have been thought of as a £5m signing.

Bony is a ****ing class player that's why!

Best of luck with your 1 in 4 ratio. He'll need it.

    Quality reply.

Bony was, before last season, an 'unknown quantity' at Premier League level.

I've just seen that £5m in now the average fee for a Premier League player, it's daft money.

Bony also cost £12m and had a 1 in 2 goal ratio in the Erdevise, which most would consider to be a better league than the Championship. In fact, Vitesse were hardly a force in Dutch football when he was there, which kind of makes his goalscoring exploits all the more impressive.

Who, in their right mind, would consider that league a better one that the Championship?

It's like the Scottish League. A couple of clubs funded by European football, the rest are complete bollocks. Even Jozy Altidore managed to score 24 goals that season.

Ulloa has a 1 in 2 average in the Championship, a MUCH more competitive league.

He was, but he was the best player in Holland, having just scored 31 goals in 30 games and he had a better than 1 in 3 record at international level.

Half of Europe were chasing him, I was amazed that Swansea stumped up the £12m to sign him. Still it's paid off, it looks like they're about to double their money.

But you say that like it's an achievement.

Jozy Altidore scored 24 goals so AZ.

Probably everybody, and no, it's really not.

Ajax, AZ, Feyenoord, FC Twente, PSV, Heerenveen and Groningen are all decent sides, much better than any side in the Championship. The rest are all probably lower Championship but are certainly no mugs.

The Scottish PL has Celtic and that's about it.

Not much of a comparison is it?

AKCJ certainly knows f**k all about football, considering he spends his entire life watching 'live' football.

    Just WOW.

    Never said that.

I said it was similar, in that there are a couple of 'untouchable' teams, and the rest is shight.

as for the Championship being a better league than the Eridivisie. It's clearly better. True the likes of Ajax are miles ahead, but the lower sides are a shambles.

Because you've compared Ulloa to Bony and he's not fit to lace his boots.
