According to Twitter we're interested in Jamie Turley but we're having problems with his medical because he broke his arm in the summer.

I don't know much about him but I've seen comments on facebook saying DC is calling him a top class signing and rovers would do well to sign him, IMO I'd happily have him to replace McChrystal as all he does is smash to ball 40 yards up the pitch every time he gets it.
If any of you have watched the pre season friendlies so far this season you will notice that parks brown and Lockyer and Higgins all try and play it out but the minute MM receives the ball he looks for the long ball.

And it also looks like Smith is staying put as we can't reach a price that both teams are happy with.

I couldn't be more happy about this as for once rovers seem to be holding out for the best deal instead of selling out at the first offer.
With DC wanting to play with wing backs this season him and browsers could be very effective and add the only real class we have in our team.

I agree. I am more inclined to keep Smith here until the end of the season, even if that means we get nothing in the end. We will have a much better change of getting out of this ****hole of a division with Smith in the team.

I wouldn't be too fussed if rovers would re-invest it into another quality player but they don't and never have!

We'll just sell him and get Higgins in and the 300k goes missing. So we lose a quality player and see no investment ohhhh the joys of being a gas head!!

To be fair to McChrystal he was always clearing up across the back four (as the midfield had more holes in it than a colanderand provided minimal defensive cover)and got us out of trouble as his reading of the game is good often he was reduced to hoofing it .I do agree that other players look more comfortable taking the ball over the half way line but that is not what he was recruited to provide.

He would have passed it to a midfielder if they had not already blown them selves out up field and gone missing.

Only my opinion he does what it says on the tin which we need at least one player in defence that provides good defensive cover.
